Scan the QR code
Point your phone camera at the QR code printed on or near the seat, table or space. No app to download — it opens directly in your browser.
No login required to view availability.
See live availability
Instantly see whether the asset is available, saved, occupied or blocked. The status is live — updated in real time as other users interact.
Save your spot
Tap "Save Seat" to place a temporary hold. A timer starts — you have a set time to confirm you're seated before the hold expires.
Login required to save. Sign up is free and fast.
Confirm seated
Once you're at the seat, tap "I'm Seated" to confirm. The hold converts to an active session and the timer resets.
Step away temporarily
Need to grab something? Tap "Step Away" to mark your seat as temporarily away. A shorter timer starts — return before it expires.
Release when done
When you're finished, tap "Release Seat". The seat is immediately marked as available for the next person and your session is saved to history.

Auto-expiry keeps things fair
SeatSaver automatically releases seats when timers expire — no staff intervention needed. Saved seats expire if the user doesn't confirm. Away seats expire if the user doesn't return. Event sessions release all assets when the event ends.
